Quick Steps for Using Multi Displacement 3

From ZBrush Info

Jump to: navigation, search

Multi Displacement 3 is used to create multiple displacement maps for a single model, when that model has been UV mapped with multiple regions. For example, the head might use coordinates 0,0 through 1,1 and the body coordinates 1,0 through 2,1. This makes it possible to create several displacement maps for the same model, for rendering engines that support such mapping.

  1. Select your model in the tool palette
  2. Go to the lowest subdivision level
  3. Open the Multi Displacement 3 submenu and choose your settings
  4. Click Export options to open the Displacement Exporter
  5. Choose your settings
  6. In the Multi Displacement 3 submenu click Create All
